| Description: | The Jr. General Ledger Accountant is responsible for a variety of accounting related tasks.
|
| Duties: | • Prepares, reconciles and remits payment for all store business licenses
• Prepares, reconciles, and remits payment for all personal property taxes
• Assists with processing of fixed asset/capital lease related reconciliations
• Assists with tracking/setup of new and closed stores and maintaining checklists
• Reviews AP checks weekly
• Assists with 1099 preparation
• Reviews new vendor forms
• Assists with company credit card administration and processing
• Updates the warehouse expense spreadsheet and sends to Senior GL Accountant for possible close accruals
• Assists with preparation of financial statements
• Assembles monthly close financial binders
• Assembles journal entry binders
• Assists with monthly accounting close tasks
• Assists with annual financial audit
• Assists with filing
• Other duties may be assigned
